The primary focus of our physical therapy program is to help
patients improve strength, movement, mobility, balance and
range of motion skills with an emphasis on returning to
everyday activities. We combine the latest techniques and
equipment with the skillful, compassionate care of our
experienced in-house physical therapy team.
Many members of the program have more than a decade of
service with our center. Extensive family involvement is
encouraged throughout the program to enhance the patient’s
comfort and improve rehabilitation. Our treatments are
one-on-one individualized therapy to obtain and maintain
your highest level of function.

exercise programs designed for each patient’s unique
needs
- Optional home visits prior to discharge to ease the
transition between rehabilitation and entry back to the
normal lifestyle
- Equipment and safety recommendations for the home
- Assistance in ordering appropriate equipment, as
necessary
- Education and hands-on training for patients and
their families on car and chair transfers, stair access
and prosthetic fittings
- UBE (resistive upper body machine)
